 CONCEPTS
« Thread Started on Sept 29, 2008, 3:48pm »

That's why I'm here. I would like to write CONCEPTS for future 'GAH' fan fiction stories. Since English is *NOT* my language... this is the only way to fully express my creativity. I'll post the CONCEPTS on the relative sub-sections, of course.

Whoever wants to do it, the concepts are there, ready to be turned into magnificent 'GAH' stories.

8-)

Glad to have you write concepts, or Plot bunnies, The Greatest Italian Hero. ;)

We have a folder for that: http://www.jadewarlock.proboards50.com/index.cgi?board=bunnies

AKA = Working on a plan folder. ;)

That said, feel free to also try your hand at writing a story. Here, all types of stories are welcome, no matter what the writing level. Only constructive criticism is allowed, meaning you won't hear anyone say "You story flat out sucks (is terrible)" without giving tips to improve it here.

In fact, writing a story might help improve your English as well, and myself and others are more than willing to read your stories beforehand (which is called beta'ing). We can give you some helpful tips on improving your writing skills (or, constructive criticism). :)

Example - I had roommates from South Korea and Taiwan all through college. Every one of them had a certain level of difficulty learning English. Add to it that I speak a Texan version (which has a lot of slang and can be confusing), it was more of a challenge. But, we would do things such as write sentences and ask questions, and before long, we would understand each other. ;)

Writing a "proper" story would require a lot of time and TWICE the normal effort for me (since it's not my primary language). I think I will deliver the BEST concepts ever seen here! :o (LOL).

Just prepare yourself, they will be very sci-fi oriented.

How about trying a 100 word drabble? It's short and too the point.

Plus, take all the time you need if you do try. I myself am nearing completion on a story I started almost a year ago. This one is pretty detailed and intense. :o

========================

But, if you don't, that's cool too and we look forward to reading your challenges/concepts. ;)
